FCI EXPORT PEDIGREES
Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) is the largest international federation of kennel clubs, based in Belgium. The FCI has 84 member countries as of May 2008, with one member per country. Each member country regulates its own breed clubs and stud books and trains its own judges; the FCI acts as an international coordinating body, making sure that pedigrees and judges are internationally recognized.
All our puppies have a five generation FCI Export Pedigree which is supplied FREE to our clients after a puppy is purchased. This Pedigree is in their name as the new owner which means that puppy can be registered with the Kennel Club.
REGISTERING YOUR PUPPY WITH THE KENNEL CLUB REGULATIONS
"Your dog would need to be registered with an appropriate overseas kennel club and would need to be in the ownership of the applicant, who must reside in the United Kingdom.
The Kennel Club will normally only accept registration for dogs from overseas countries when the following applies:
- The breed is recognised by the Kennel Club
- The Kennel Club has a reciprocal agreement with overseas kennel clubs that have full membership, associate membership or contract partnership of the FCI (Federation Cynologique Internationale)
- The owner and the dog are resident at an address in the United Kingdom "
ALL OUR CLIENTS RECEIVE AN FCI PEDIGREE IN THEIR NAME AS REQUIRED BY THE KENNEL CLUB FREE OF CHARGE AFTER PURCHASE
The Pet Travel Scheme ("PETS") is a system which allows animals to travel easily between member countries without undergoing quarantine. A Pet Passport is a document that officially records information, as part of that procedure. The effect is to speed up and simplify travel with and transport of animals between member countries. As our puppies are imported each has a Pet Passport complying with the entry requirements in the U.K. and with all the necessary vaccinations and health certicates.
All our puppies are microchipped as is required by the Pet Passport. Once a client has purchased a puppy, this Microchip must be registered in their name with any of the approved Databases such as Pettrac, Pet Log, and Chipworks etc. The process is very simple and inexpensive.
